Description

This 100% linen tightly woven basketweave is a fabric that few weavers are still able to produce, given the quality and width of the yarn used. Produced and dyed in the Hauts-de-France region of Northern France, this basketweave shows off the traditions and expertise that France has been able to conserve. It has the MASTER OF LINEN certificate, which ensure the traceability of the linen, from its growing to its weaving in Europe. Due to its high Martindale, it is ideal for both heavy-duty seating and curtains. Its artisanal Stone Wash finish gives it an irregular “baroque” finish, a soft touch and a remarkable drape. Three colours – Pearl, Umber and Egyptian Blue – are pigment-dyed using a blade to randomly spread the colour, giving it this marled “antique” look. L’Est?rel is available in a range of eleven colours : Alabaster, Ivory, sand, Taupe, frost, celadon, Fuscous, carbon, Pearl, Umber and Egyptian Blue. Lire la suite
